What does Quik Stick spray adhesive bond?
Quik Stick is a professional spray adhesive that forms a strong permanent bond attaching vinyl, leather, polyurethane, and foam rubber to metal, wood, fabrics, and other surfaces. That combination covers most of the soft-goods work that comes through a shop:
- Headliners
- Gaskets
- Floor carpets
- Upholstery and foam
- Fabrics and trim panels
How long can you reposition it?
Up to 15 minutes. It becomes tacky almost instantly, but the long bonding range means you are not committed the second the material touches down. Anyone who has fought a headliner knows why that matters: the panel goes up, you find the wrinkle, and you still have time to pull it back and reset instead of living with it.
Can you use it on gaskets?
Yes, and it is one of the more common uses. Quik Stick holds a cut gasket in position while you line up the mating surface and start the fasteners, which is the fiddly part of the job. It is doing a different job than a sealant, though. If the joint needs to seal, Bead It! Black Gasket Maker is the RTV that forms the actual gasket.

Frequently asked questions
How long do I have to reposition the material?
Up to 15 minutes after it becomes tacky. Plenty of room to get a headliner straight.
Is the bond permanent or temporary?
It can be either. Quik Stick may be used for permanent or temporary bonding depending on how you apply it.
Will it hold a headliner?
Headliners are one of the named applications, along with floor carpets and upholstery.
Does it work on foam?
Yes. Foam rubber and polyurethane are both on the list of materials it bonds, which is most seat and trim padding.
